Coppa dei Campioni ’70 – ’80
The “Coppa dei Campioni” was a famous karting race led from the late 70’s to the early 80’s in Italy, from 1972 to 1985.
The best international kart drivers competed in what was, at the time, like a world cup. Winning the “Coppa dei Campioni” was a great achievement for any driver, crowning them as one of the best in their field.
Many great Drivers raced in the Coppa dei Campioni. Some of these were Ayrton Senna da Silva, Riccardo Patrese, Elio De Angelis, Ivan Capelli, Andrea De Cesaris, Corrado Fabi, Alain Prost, Yvan Muller, Stefano Garelli, Alessandro Zanardi, Stefano Modena, Peter de Bruijn, Mike Wilson.
